Todd Cranmore, BCO BADO – Licensed Ocularist

Todd Cranmore is a Licensed Ocularist in Washington State, a Board Certified Ocularist (BCO) and a Board Approved Diplomate Ocularist (BADO). Combining medicine, artistry and engineering, Todd creates an amazing replica of the natural eye. Along with his education in ocular prosthetics, he has earned a degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington. Todd loves hanging out with his family, prefers to be out on the water boating and especially loves wake surfing.

Christie Erickson Ocularist

Christie Erickson, BCO BADO – Licensed Ocularist

Christie Erickson is a Licensed Ocularist in Washington State, a Board Certified Ocularist (BCO) and a Board Approved Diplomate Ocularist (BADO). Specializing in ocular prosthetics since 1981, Christie places her emphasis on the satisfaction and well-being of every patient. Her skill and expertise are equally matched by her personalized care for patients and attention to detail. Christie enjoys gardening, watching hummingbirds on her deck, hiking and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.

Tawnya Cranmore

Tawnya Cranmore – Apprentice Ocularist

Tawnya Cranmore is an Apprentice Ocularist combining her creativity and compassion to care for others. She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She values the opportunity to partner with her husband Todd and the whole team through the rewarding work at Northwest Eye Design. She enjoys being with friends & family, game nights, volunteering, walks and hikes.

Emily Spiker – Administrative Coordinator

Emily is an Administrative Coordinator for Northwest Eye Design. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, grew up in Valrico, Florida and moved to Washington several years ago with her husband, Eric, and two daughters, Molly and Abi. Some of Emily’s favorite things to do are to play with her puppy, Peaches, and to create home decor out of old, forgotten and reclaimed pieces.

“I love the atmosphere, it really is a family here! Everyone from the Ocularists to the administrative staff to the patients is part of the Northwest Eye Design family and you can sense that the moment you come into the office.”

Carri Grosenick – Patient Care Coordinator

Carri is a Patient Care Coordinator for Northwest Eye Design. She is originally from Marianna, Florida, but spent the majority of her youth in Woodinville, Washington. Carri studied Human Services at Western Washington University in Bellingham. She now lives in Kirkland with her husband, Gunnar, and their fur-baby, Lucy, the Australian Shepard. Carri and her family can be found out on Lake Washington sailing, camping in the Methow Valley of Eastern Washington or gardening in their backyard.

Jenny Bolt – Patient Care Coordinator

Jenny is a Patient Care Coordinator for Northwest Eye Design. She is originally from Vancouver, WA and lived in Spokane for 8 years before moving to the Seattle area. Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Children’s Studies from Eastern Washington University, where she met her husband, Steven. Jenny and Steven live in Bothell with their sweet, mischievous Chihuahua Lumen. She loves time with family and friends and can usually be found doing something creative, volunteering at church, or enjoying game nights with those she loves.

Karin Rowles – Patient Care Coordinator

Karin is a Patient Care Coordinator for Northwest Eye Design. She grew up in Yakima, but has lived in Western Washington for over 20 years. Karin graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and has always enjoyed jobs that allow her to support others. She has lived in Bothell for the last 13 years with her husband, Shawn, and their two teenagers. Karin loves to cook, bake, read and spend time with her family. She loves watching her kids play sports and traveling with her family when they have the chance.

Shannon O’Neil – Ocularist Lab Tech Intern

Shannon is participating in a lab technician internship with Northwest Eye Design. She currently attends the University of Notre Dame, where she is majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior, with hopes of entering the healthcare field after graduation. She is originally from San Diego, California but has lived in Kirkland for several years. In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time outside with her friends and family, especially hiking and running.

“I love being able to see the steps behind making a prosthetic eye and am excited about the opportunity to be part of such a unique aspect of patient care!”

Drew Blacksmith – Ocularist Lab Tech Intern

Drew is participating in a lab technician internship with Northwest Eye Design. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona and Mukilteo, Washington, and now currently lives in the Seattle area. He recently graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In his spare time, Drew enjoys playing basketball, surfing, or eating Chick-fil-A with his fun and unpredictable uncle Todd.
